This is GrimmSpeed’s Double Thickness Gasket, and it fits between your exhaust manifold and the uppipe. What makes this gasket special is that it has 12 layers, which is double the size of your standard GrimmSpeed uppipe gasket. Whenever removing, or replacing any of your uppipe, you should always replace the gasket because exhaust gaskets experience more heat than any other gasket in your engine and they can become brittle and come apart upon removal.
Save yourself time and labor by using a gasket thick enough to seal the uppipe right on the first try.
